Signed for free in the summer of 2013, Llorente arrived at Juventus after impressive performances for La Liga side Athletic Bilbao, but has failed to make a significant impact, with the likes of Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata being preferred ahead of him.
MORE ARRIVALS AT JUVENTUS
Juventus have sanctioned a deal for Tevez to return to Argentina but with the arrivals of Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid and Paulo Dybala from Palermo this summer it is evident that Llorente would fall further down the pecking order.
PREMIER LEAGUE INTEREST
Llorente is said to be aware of Premier League interest and he himself is keen to move, but with a new suitor in Real the 30-year old might snub any other club to move to Santiago Bernabeu.
Benitez believes Llorente would provide the perfect back-up to Karim Benzema and would add depth to the squad in the next term after a dismal 2014-15 showing.
Having featured in 45 games in each of his two seasons with Juve, the Spanish striker scored 18 goals in 2013/14 and nine goals in 2014/15 in all competitions.
BIG PLAYER?
Though playing a limited part in Juventus’ success in recent years Llorente has already won the Serie A title twice, Coppa Italia once and was the runner-up of last season’s Champions League as his side lost to Barcelona 3-1 in the final.
An imminent transfer appears certain this window, it only remains to be seen which club Llorente represents beyond then.
