According to Spanish publication SPORT Pedro, who recently signed a new contract with the Catalan giants until 2019, is considering his options as he is not likely to play a major role in Luis Enrique's side next season.
The 27-year-old is not short of suitors, and it was believed that French titans Paris Saint-Germain were leading the race for his signature, but Liverpool and Arsenal are said to have also expressed an interest.
Pedro made 35 appearances for the La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Champions League winners last season, only 20 of which he started and found himself unable to break into a forward line occupied by the otherworldly trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
He also scored six goals and notched up the same number of assists in what was a disappointing personal campaign.
The Spanish international is said to be more interested in a move to England, to either Liverpool or Arsenal, but reportedly favours the Reds as they are more in line with his style of play.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is a big fan of Pedro and could swoop for the La Masia graduate as a direct replacement for want-away winger Raheem Sterling, who has been the subject of unsuccessful bids from Manchester City.
Arsenal however, are willing to front more money to secure Pedro than Liverpool and he would fit the bill of high-quality talent Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is aiming to bring to the club.
Pedro's first choice is to stay at Barcelona but should he not receive assurances of his role at the club for the forthcoming season, he could ask for a transfer away from the club by the end of pre-season.
